- I can't say enough about Jim Thorpe, formerly called Mauch Chunk, and the final resting place for the athlete Jim Thorpe. The Train ride is GREAT!
- Pioneer Coal Mine Tunnel - Ashland, PA
- This is worth the drive. Go underground and tour an authentic coal mine. Also ride a coal powered steam train.

- This senic route covers over 400 miles from east to western PA. Many interesting stops along the way!!
- Gettysburg
- Gettysburg is a fun trip, with plenty of things to do. Many haunted ghost walks!
